The Seven Starseed Lineages — A Cosmic Atlas

The seven canonical starseed lineages — Pleiadian, Sirian, Arcturian, Andromedan, Lyran, Orion, Mintakan — mapped by frequency, mission, and shadow. Plus the eight extended lineages.

Pick the one that lands first

The seven canonical lineages

Each lineage carries a different frequency, a different mission, a different shadow. Read the line that lands first — that's the one your soul came from.

Less common — equally real

The seven extended lineages

The seven canonical lineages cover the dominant frequencies on Earth right now. These seven are quieter, rarer, sometimes half-remembered — but for the souls they belong to, the recognition is just as immediate.

The starseed framework recognises seven canonical cosmic lineages — each a distinct frequency, mission, and shadow. Pleiadian, Sirian, Arcturian, Andromedan, Lyran, Orion, and Mintakan. This atlas maps each one in a single page, with the full deep dives one click away.

The seven canonical starseed lineages

These are the seven lineages most consistently named across the modern channeling canon — from Marciniak (1992) to Quan Yin (1996) to the wider TikTok-era community. Most starseeds carry a primary lineage and a secondary influence.

Pleiadian — heart-centered healers

Origin: the Pleiades cluster (Seven Sisters, Alcyone). Element: Air. Shadow: boundaries.

Pleiadians are the emotional permission lineage. Hyper-empathic from childhood. Water dreams. Crowds drain them fast. They came to soften a hardening world — usually one quiet conversation at a time. Most healers and song-carriers in this generation are Pleiadian.

If you cry for strangers, ache at the night sky, and over-give until you collapse: read the Pleiadian deep dive.

Sirian — keepers of sacred form

Origin: Sirius A and B. Element: Water. Shadow: emotional release.

Sirians are the architect lineage. Pyramids, temples, libraries — they don't feel like history, they feel like memory. Loyal. Structured. Deeply private. They came to remember what was lost — the architectures, rituals, languages of the old worlds.

Sirian souls often work with sacred geometry, ceremonial design, ancient knowledge systems, and quiet long-term mastery.

Arcturian — frequency engineers

Origin: Boötes constellation, the star Arcturus. Element: Æther. Shadow: heart connection.

Arcturians are the redesign lineage. Mind runs hot, heart runs cool. They see the pattern before others see the problem. They came to redesign systems — bodies, technologies, paradigms — and they often end up in healing tech, energy work, or systemic reform.

The Arcturian challenge is the heart: brilliant minds that took longer than expected to learn how to belong.

Andromedan — gentle rebels

Origin: M31, the Andromeda Galaxy. Element: Space. Shadow: earthly rooting.

Andromedans are the freedom lineage. Cosmic philosophers. Roamers. Never quite committed to one place, one path, or one person who didn't get them. They came to remind humanity that it is not alone, not small, and not trapped.

Their gift is perspective. Their shadow is rootlessness — and the slow, hard work of choosing one life.

Lyran — first seeders

Origin: Vega, in the constellation Lyra. Element: Fire. Shadow: restlessness.

Lyrans are the founder lineage. In starseed lore, Lyra is the original star home of humanity — many other lineages branch from Lyran ancestry. Royal. Leonine. Brave. They have been leading since they were small, and people look to them whether they want it or not.

Lyran shadow work: learning to stay long enough to finish what you started.

Orion — integrators of light and shadow

Origin: Orion's Belt, especially the central stars. Element: Earth. Shadow: ego integration.

Orions are the truth-seeker lineage. They hold the dark and the light without choosing. Logic and longing. Hunter and hunted. Others find this unsettling. They find it true.

Orion souls often arrive at midlife as the people who can sit with what no one else can — grief, complexity, contradiction — and translate it into language.

Mintakan — first hope-bringers

Origin: Mintaka, also in Orion's Belt. Element: Light. Shadow: cosmic homesickness.

Mintakans remember paradise. They have spent their life looking for the way back. The lineage carries the memory of an unbroken world — and the homesickness that follows. Often the most spiritually old, the most quietly luminous, the hardest to fully arrive on Earth.

If the word Mintaka moves something in you that no one else around you understands: it is your lineage.

Extended lineages

Beyond the canonical seven, the community recognises eight extended lineages — for souls whose primary frequency lives in older or more specialised threads:

  • Lemurian — water-element divine feminine, womb-healer, often Hawaiian and Pacific resonance
  • Atlantean — old magic, crystals, gifted but carrying a fall-of-civilization grief
  • Venusian — beauty, sensual divine love, art as devotion
  • Hadarian — unconditional love (Blue Ray), often co-dependency themes
  • Polarian — stillness, clarity, polar discipline
  • Draconian (Light) — strategic warriors, dragon-soul lineage
  • Avian / Blue Avian — bird consciousness, eagle, visionary
  • Feline / Anubis — Egypt-lineage, mystic, protective

These often appear as a third overtone alongside a canonical primary + secondary.

How most starseeds carry their lineage

The clean "I am Pleiadian" pattern is rare. Far more common:

  1. Primary lineage — the body recognition that is unmistakable. The frequency that has shaped your life.
  2. Secondary lineage — a meaningful overtone. The pattern you didn't notice until someone named it.
  3. Occasional third overtone — usually an extended lineage. The thread that explains the parts of you that don't fit the first two.

The resonance test maps the first two in a seven-minute journey. The third is the work of a lifetime.

How to find your lineage

The community gold standard is resonance, not multiple-choice. Three approaches:

  1. Read the seven descriptions slowly. Notice which one your body moves to before your mind does. That is the data.
  2. Take the resonance test. Image, sound, one-line invitations — closer to how starseeds actually identify each other.
  3. Look at your birth chart. The "star markings" approach reads planetary degrees as lineage confirmations. Read the starseed markings page for how this works.

If you are mid-awakening — sleep is strange, body is sensitive, life is unraveling and re-weaving — the awakening signs page may be the right next step before identifying lineage.

Frequently asked questions

How many starseed types are there?

The starseed community recognises seven canonical lineages — Pleiadian, Sirian, Arcturian, Andromedan, Lyran, Orion, and Mintakan — plus eight extended lineages including Lemurian, Atlantean, Venusian, Hadarian, Polarian, Draconian (Light), Avian, and Feline.

What is the most common starseed type?

Pleiadian is the most commonly self-identified lineage in modern starseed circles, followed by Sirian and Arcturian. This is partly because Pleiadian channeled material (Marciniak, Quan Yin) was the most accessible starting point in the 1990s.

Can I be a hybrid of two starseed types?

Almost everyone is. Most starseeds carry a strong primary lineage and a meaningful secondary influence — a Pleiadian-Andromedan, a Sirian-Arcturian, an Orion-Lyran. The seven types are frequencies, not boxes.

How is this different from astrology?

Astrology maps the planetary patterns at your birth on Earth. Starseed lineages map the soul's origin before this life. Some traditions cross-reference both — looking at planetary degrees (Sirian degree at 25–27° of fixed signs, etc.) as confirmation markers.
